When I started writing and put in a section on architecture, I wanted to write about the follies and silliness and stupidity that I see all around me. I wanted to write about those quiet buildings that don’t seem to get the attention they deserve but are designed so much better than their loud-mouthed counterparts.
I lack the ability to express this very well, at least not without a lot more practice.
Today I found an article that says all of that much better than I ever could. It’s an article written by an architectural critic who I feel is absolutely important to our current architecture culture.
Please read about his take on the sculptures which are being built in the name of architecture. Click on the title below for the full article as printed in The Hedgehog Review, Summer 2018.
